INDIAN MOUND
The 18-hole Indian Mound course features 6,469 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Wide fairways with strategically situated bunkers. Pristine lakes and marshes are the trademark of this challenging course. Designed by Joe Lee in 1975, Indian Mound remains unobstructed by residential or commercial development.
OLEANDER
The 18-hole Oleander course features 6,521 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Considered the local favorite, the 1964 Dick Wilson - designed course features numerous dog legs, par 4's, 5's. The course is situated only 300 yards from the ocean, so trade winds often affect play.
PINE LAKES
The newest (originally designed and built in 1968 and completely renovated in 2002) and longest course (at 6760 yards), Pine Lakes is a veritable masterpiece that meanders through ocean forests and undisturbed hammocks populated by migratory birds. The original Dick Wilson/Joe Lee design was completely renovated in 2002 by course architect Clyde Johnston, designer of Southerness Golf Club, Golf Course in Atlanta. Johnston took what was a near perfection and added his vision and flavor – including new lakes and bunkers, redesigned greens and drainage improvements – making it the premier course on Jekyll Island. During course design Clyde Johnston incorporated "Family Friendly" tee boxes, making this the only course in America that allows players of all ages to compete evenly. Pine Lakes and Jekyll Island are the official hosts for the annual US Kids Golf Jekyll Island Cup.
